Patricia Ratulangi

With broad experience in corporate and marketing communications, Patricia Ratulangi’s passion is engaging employees to become brand ambassadors for their companies. She has developed and implemented strategic internal and external communications solutions for global and regional companies.

Pat has helped communicators to develop strategic plans that enable business results. Clients include financial services companies Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida and USAA. She has also worked cross-functionally with multiple departments in United Airlines’ Corporate and Government Affairs division. She conducted a resource allocation analysis for the Corporate Social Investment department, resulting in streamlined workflow and optimized roles. Pat has also worked with General Motors and Nationwide, where she analyzed research and created data-driven change management programs for communications functions.

Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, Pat was part of the Global Marketing Communications team at General Electric’s Healthcare Financial Services. She led a cross-functional team from multiple product departments and an off-shore development group to redesign the company’s website. In a post-launch survey, nearly 90 percent of the company’s workforce indicated that the new site’s functionality facilitated their work processes. When the company was acquiring a new organization, Pat led the online content integration process, ensuring a smooth transition for internal and external stakeholders.

Previously, Pat was a technology practice consultant at Ogilvy Public Relations in Singapore. She managed strategic communications and regional business-to-business media support for Palm Computing, IBM Asia, Computer Associates and Digital Technologies. As an independent consultant for Bozell Public Relations, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Pat ensured key message alignment in local outreach to Singapore-based stakeholders for Bausch & Lomb and for the former Lucent Technologies.
