Rose R. Gailey
Rose Gailey’s role at Gagen MacDonald leverages her ability to adapt to any set of corporate objectives and environments. During her near-30 year career, Rose has led leadership development initiatives in over 20 Fortune 1000 companies, ranging in industry from automotive manufacturing, commercial aerospace and foodservice to pharmaceuticals, financial services and insurance. Rose is an expert in executive coaching and assessment, and is currently co-pioneering a versatile leadership analysis model, and applying it with two global clients.
Prior to starting her career as a consultant, Rose worked in counseling psychology, providing her with skills that set her apart from others accountable for organizational alignment and leadership development. Rose has additional expertise in talent management, HR systems development and integration. This combination of experiences and skills often results in an approach that partners Rose with functional leaders in communications, organizational development, human resources and operations. Rose’s strategic planning background has led to several projects intended to create sustainable learning organizations.
Rose has collaborated with Gagen MacDonald colleagues to launch Building Capabilities, a practice area that develops organizational capability using an expert team of facilitators across the globe. Rose’s career with Gagen MacDonald has seen her take leadership communications competency development to a new level by contributing to the development of Gagen MacDonald’s Leadership Communications Effectiveness 360™.
Rose’s expertise has led to multiple client engagements with global corporations including BASF, Bristol Meyers Squibb, British Gas Trans Co., British Telecom, Edison International, Glaxo Smith Kline, Hitachi Data Systems, International Truck & Engine (now Navistar International), Johnson & Johnson, McDonalds, Payless ShoeSource, PolyOne, United Airlines, USAA and YUM Brands. Living in El Paso, on the border of Mexico, Rose has come to value the impact of two cultures on communities, organizations and individuals. She brings fluency in the Spanish language and cultural sensitivity to Gagen MacDonald's work with multinational companies. Rose’s passion for global diversity has led to the development of cultural alignment training, global diversity initiatives, and research in the area of Latino executive leadership development. During her career she has facilitated bilingual leadership development programs throughout Latin America.
