Bill Conroy has over three decades of successful experience working with public and private organizations as a consultant and executive. His focus during many of these years has been on organization change and leadership development. He works most closely with senior executives and operations groups in their efforts to improve.

Bill joined Gagen MacDonald after working in higher education in support of renowned universities and colleges by directing student registration efforts and resolving operational issues. The move to Gagen MacDonald was prompted by Bill’s desire to work with organizations that were more responsive to the need for change.

He has worked all over the world with a variety of organizations including the White House Communications Agency (Reagan administration), the Singapore National Productivity Association, General Motors, Chrysler, Alcoa, Zimmer, SASOL Energy (South Africa), Siemens (Germany), and HSM Cultura & Desenvolvimento (Brazil) among others.

His focus during these assignments has been to improve operational effectiveness through the application of the disciplines of leadership communications, employee engagement and continuous improvement. Bill feels very fortunate to have worked and studied with Philip B. Crosby, Dr. W. Edwards Deming and Dr. Joseph Juran.

A proud son of New York City, Bill graduated from the City University of New York with a combined degree in Economics and Political Science. He received his MBA from Pace University Graduate School of Business which he attended on a graduate fellowship. He has continued his education at Ashridge Management College (U.K.), UVA’s Darden School of Business and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
