Sherry Scott has more than 20 years of results-driven experience within corporations and as a consultant to the Fortune 500 in change management, leadership communication and employee engagement, strategic planning, labor communication and internal and corporate communication.
Sherry joined Gagen MacDonald at the firm’s inception in 1998. Since that time, she has had the opportunity to work with nearly all of the firm’s clients including Baxter, Miller/Coors, Johnson & Johnson, United Airlines, General Motors and Walgreens on a wide range of business transformation and organizational initiatives. These include business strategy shift, internal brand alignment, M&A, bankruptcy and restructuring, CEO transitions, operations improvements and culture change.
Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, Sherry ran internal communications for International Truck and Engine Corporation (then Navistar). She also worked for a major global public relations firm in its Corporate and Investor Communications practice. Sherry has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Kansas. Those who’ve met Sherry comment on the “can do” attitude she brings to clients and colleagues. In addition to her work at Gagen, she serves as a board member and vice president of the Communication Leadership Exchange, an association of senior-level communication professionals. She also is a graduate of the Arthur W. Page Society Future Leaders program.
