Wade Thompson is the founder, president and creative Director of Son&Sons, the design arm of Gagen McDonald. Son&Sons is a design agency organized around teams of creative leaders that deliver transformational results in the fields of innovation, brand identity and brand communications.
Wade and his team have shaped the voice and visual identities of some of the world’s largest brands. He has led visual identity and global communications projects for Coca-Cola, United Airlines, Bacardi, The Hartford, FedEx, Dow and Pfizer. With offices in Atlanta, Chicago and New York City the Son&Sons team serves clients throughout the Americas, Europe, Africa and India.
Wade’s clients value his ability to give form to ideas by fusing intellect and beauty to form coherent systems of thought that serve as touch points to a company’s truth.
Wade is fascinated by the challenge of making great ideas more accessible. He sees design as a bridge between information and understanding, between needs and solutions, between awareness and awakening.
In addition to running Son&Sons, Wade teaches at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Laurel and Mack the dog. You can ask him for great espresso recommendations around the world.
