PRWeek has announced its shortlist for the PRWeek 2018 Awards, naming DuPont a finalist in the Best in Internal Communications category for its project “Countdown to Day One: Creating DowDupont.”
DuPont partnered with Gagen MacDonald and Think Marketing to develop and implement communication strategies that enabled the business to deliver significantly improved results, minimize business disruption, and build employee and leader confidence in the future, in light of DuPont’s announcement to merge with The Dow Chemical Company and subsequently divide into three independent companies. Closing August 31, 2017, this deal was the largest industrial merger in history.
This DuPont employee and leader communications program has previously won several awards, including multiple IABC Gold Quills and a PRSA Silver Anvil, along with numerous IABC Heritage Region Silver Quill and IABC Chicago Bronze Quill awards in the Change Management, Employee Engagement, and Internal Communications categories.
Winners of the PRWeek Awards are chosen by a panel of judges including senior PR professionals from agency, corporate, nonprofit, and government teams, as well as PR education professionals. Award winners and Best Agency of the Year will be chosen by judges and PRWeek’s editor-in-chief and announced at the PRWeek Awards ceremony on March 15, 2018.
