Maril MacDonald, founder & CEO of Gagen MacDonald, was honored as a winner of the 2020 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards at the 18th Annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration & Conference this week. The two-day Virtual Event featured more than 60 speakers and garnered over 300 attendees on topics such as successful entrepreneurial strategies during the pandemic, building legacy and securing financial and personal wellness.

The Enterprising Women of the Year Awards are widely considered one of the most esteemed recognitions for women business owners.

“Maril MacDonald demonstrates the leadership qualities of our Enterprising Women of the Year: as founder & CEO of Gagen MacDonald, as a passionate mentor of women and girls on the path to entrepreneurship, and as a committed contributor to her community, the nation and the world,” said Monica Smiley, Publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine.

Enterprising Women, the nation’s only woman-owned magazine published exclusively for women business owners, chronicles the growing political, economic and social influence and power of entrepreneurial women in 185 countries. The organization extends this influence through thought leadership conferences, recognition, online learning and the Enterprising Women Foundation which advances vital mentoring for female high school students.
