Ann Simon

With three decades of communication experience, Ann has an extensive background working with Fortune 500 companies to provide counsel and deliver communication programs that strengthen organizational alignment around the company strategy and culture to improve business performance.

As a senior consultant at Gagen MacDonald, she has led change management, employee engagement and culture transformation programs as well as communication effectiveness assessments and strategic communication planning for clients such as Pfizer, Medtronic and Novo Nordisk. Most recently, Ann worked with the global communications team at a leading health care company to conduct a holistic assessment of the function and chart a path for its evolution into a world-class organization. She also managed communications for a major acquisition by a leading technology firm in the wireless networking space.

Previously, Ann headed corporate employee communications as well as institutional business communications at Charles Schwab, where she created programs and channels to engage leaders, employees, customers and industry stakeholders during a time of unprecedented change for the company.  Ann also led the corporate practice for a global public relations firm, serving as senior counselor for clients such as American Express, Visa, Bank of Montreal and Fidelity Investments. Earlier in her career, she also worked in corporate communications at Merrill Lynch in New York.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Ann is based in the San Francisco Bay area, where she also is working to expand Gagen’s West Coast presence.
