Bob Rybarczyk’s 25-year career in communications has provided him a breadth of experience that allows him to effectively develop and deliver messaging in various business environments.
As a deeply experienced storyteller and editor, Bob specializes in translating complex concepts into messaging that target audiences can easily understand, digest and convert into action. He also is skilled at weaving warmth and humanity into communications in a way that keeps people engaged and receptive.
Prior to working with the Gagen MacDonald team, Bob spent the majority of his career at one of the world’s leading global public relations firms. In his role as a senior vice president at the firm, Bob led national communications campaigns for clients such as Anheuser-Busch, Bank of America, Verizon, ExxonMobil, Riot Games and Energizer. During his tenure, his client work won SABRE, PRWeek and IABC awards, and his varied experiences helped him become a highly versatile communications leader who quickly and easily adapts to a wide range of industries and engagements.
Earlier in his career, Bob served as a project lead and copywriter for a marketing agency dedicated to partnering with startups, where he helped clients establish their initial corporate narratives. He also led marketing efforts for a public-safety software company.
A trained journalist, Bob began his career as a news and sports director for several Missouri radio stations before transitioning into public relations. He also spent nearly a decade exercising his quick wit and creative writing talents in a weekly humor column published by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism.
