Always up for a challenge, Corinne is passionate about helping organizations take big ideas and turn them into a reality that betters their business, engages employees and improves society. She has over 12 years of experience in corporate communications and social responsibility – working for some of the country’s leading brands. Her expertise includes internal communications, change management, cause branding, and strategic planning. She has a particular passion for finding opportunities and interconnections that others might not see and leveraging them to maximize her clients’ results.

During Corinne’s seven years at Northwestern Mutual, she provided communications consulting to business functions; helped drive awareness, understanding, and connection among employees to the company’s new strategy; and served on a cross-functional team that increased motivation companywide through tailored communication and management practices. She had a leading role in building the company’s cause-branding program that exceeded its employee engagement, media relations, and fundraising goals by more than 300 percent in its first three years. Corinne also facilitated the communication department’s strategic planning and performance measurement process.

Before Northwestern Mutual, she was a member of the corporate communication and foundation team at Allstate Insurance Company. Corinne provided strategic counsel to C-suite executives regarding speaking engagements and board opportunities, managed multi-million dollar nonprofit/corporate partnerships, and redesigned Allstate’s volunteerism program to inspire its people to give back in ways that supported its marketing and customer experience initiatives.

Corinne started her career at Kellogg Company working in media relations and internal communications. She managed plans for the company’s centennial celebration and launched its anniversary website.

She has a Master of Arts degree in communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communication from Western Michigan University.
