Greg has built a reputation for being able to simplify complex business issues into clear, concise and actionable communications that drives positive change.
In his 25-plus year career, he has played a leading role in launching and building brands in crowded market places, creating and executing innovative communication strategies that establishes employee and customer understanding and commitment to company direction. Greg builds lasting partnerships across global corporate, manufacturing and sales teams to determine and articulate competitive advantages that informs the unique value proposition that retains employees and wins customer business.
Prior to working with Gagen MacDonald, Greg served as vice president, Corporate Affairs, Americas, for Rexam, a leading global consumer packaging company based in London. Greg served as chief spokesperson for the company in the Americas, leading all internal, external, marketing, sustainability and union communications. This included creating innovative strategies such as offering media support for a customer’s new product launch as a value-add to bids for volume. This ultimately enabled 3rd party testimonials regarding Rexam products, service and value featured across key traditional and social media. He also led all merger and acquisition communications through more than a decade of growth and divestiture.
Greg started his career at General Motors before gaining roles of increasing responsibility across such leading organizations as Whirlpool and Navistar, where he managed the customer launch of the company’s new brand, complete with new logo, brand messaging architecture, website, dealer signage, product marketing materials and press.
In Greg’s spare time, he serves as a tutor through Varsity Tutors Inc., working with high school students on English literature capabilities, from understanding author intent and themes to improving essay writing. Greg has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University.
