Heather Slowik

Heather is an accomplished business analyst and corporate communicator with over ten years of experience in client service organizations. Throughout her career, she has been a trusted advisor to senior leaders and their direct reports, offering thoughtful analyses and results-driven solutions to support strategy execution.

She joined Gagen MacDonald in January 2014 to develop and grow new client relationships in the New York Tri-State region. In this role, Heather partners with clients and prospects to identify critical opportunities related to business and culture transformation, M&A integration, and employee engagement and experience. She’s also focused on raising the visibility of the firm through strategic partnerships and events.

Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, Heather gained deep financial services industry expertise as a valued colleague within Citi’s investment research business for nearly seven years. As a business analyst, she managed projects of strategic importance to the Americas business in the areas of internal communications, client management, performance reviews and compensation modeling. She began her Wall Street work by co-authoring more than 200 research reports and managing client outreach for Citi’s senior biotechnology analyst.

A unique internal consulting role and management rotation assignment set the foundation for Heather’s career.  During a three-year period at a mid-sized insurance company, Heather worked alongside corporate and field-based employees at all organizational levels and learned successful approaches to engaging employees and improving customer service.

Heather is a published writer, and her articles providing strategic insights to healthcare executives have appeared in two publications, In Vivo and Start-Up.  She also co-produced a web-based series for CEOs running small businesses in Philadelphia.

Heather received a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University where she completed a Semester in Manufacturing Immersion program and focused her studies in the area of Managing and Leading Organizations. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
