Jim brings over 30 years of experience in leadership development to the Building Capabilities team. He is driven to make a difference with the clients he serves as a personal adviser, coach and facilitator, and is passionate about building a sense of collaboration between teams for the benefit of employees, the organization and the community. Most recently he developed and implemented a successful personalized group coaching process.
Jim is committed to the success of the individuals and teams with which he works and has been intimately involved in numerous major business transformations in energy, manufacturing and financial services companies in the U.S., U.K. and Canada. As a member of the Gagen MacDonald team, he has supported clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Exelon, and fcm travel solutions. Jim is also a certified Route to Greatness facilitator.
Prior to working with Gagen MacDonald, Jim was the managing director at Root Learning and a partner at Senn-Delaney Leadership Consulting Group. At both organizations he focused on building the consulting practices in the energy and manufacturing industries. Through his leadership, consulting team members thrived in a strong values-based culture that supported clients in attaining their goals and desired results.
Jim is also dedicated to his community. Currently he is the president of the Rotary Club of Jackson Township, member of the Stark County Oil and Gas Partnership, and member of the Board of Directors of the Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce. He was awarded Rotarian of the Year 2012 and Jackson Township Outstanding Citizen for 2013.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Akron and served in the U.S. Army for four years as an infantry captain. He is passionate about his faith, family, clients, network, community, and his own personal growth and development.
