Lauren Underhill brings her passion for interpersonal communication and client relations to deliver outstanding results amid organizational complexity. From her experience addressing diverse client needs and journalism degree, Lauren has an intense curiosity and drive for problem-solving, and a propensity for storytelling.
Before joining Gagen MacDonald, Lauren held several roles in communications. Lauren entered the communications field working in public relations agencies, first focusing on franchise brands. By working with franchise companies in industries ranging from financial and business services to retail, and food and beverage, Lauren gained familiarity with a variety of business structures and leadership techniques.
Lauren went on to broaden her content development and client relations skillset at a public relations agency with a focus on business-to-business technology brands.
Most recently, Lauren served as the marketing coordinator for a restaurant group in Chicago, where she worked directly with local leaders to drive traffic and sales for eight unique restaurants through social media marketing. Her work also included visual and written content creation, aiming to differentiate each restaurant from the vast pool of eateries in the Chicagoland area.
Evidenced in all of Lauren’s work are her strong writing skills and strategic thinking. She artfully connects communications to organizational objectives and produces deliverables that help her clients achieve results.
Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a specialization in public relations from Michigan State University.
