Tova draws on deep expertise in communications and change management to help organizations lead business transformations and achieve results. She is a thoughtful strategist and a strong program manager with a passion for leveraging communication and engagement tactics to empower leaders and align employees with their organization’s mission and goals. Tova’s ability to ask insightful questions and view opportunities and challenges from diverse perspectives enables her to design highly effective communication and change strategies and lead teams to successfully deliver. She has helped implement organizational changes, improve communication, strengthen culture and increase employee engagement with several Fortune 500 companies including Becton Dickinson, Pfizer, General Electric, Exelon, ConAgra Foods and Phillips 66.
In her work with Pfizer, one of the world’s premier innovative biopharmaceutical companies, Tova helped the organization through operating model transformations that significantly impacted employees, and introduced communication channels and resources that enabled leaders to help employees embrace changes and connect their work to the organization’s strategic objectives.
Most recently, Tova supported Becton Dickinson, a global medical technology company, through an organization redesign, providing strategic communications counsel and delivering change communications plans and materials that enabled leaders to own changes and bring employees with them on their change journey.
Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, Tova led large-scale marketing and communications initiatives for U.S. Cellular, a Chicago-based wireless telecommunications company. During her time with U.S. Cellular, Tova built a solid track record including marketing the national launch of the company’s new voice and data network and launching a successful multi million-dollar change project that impacted all employees.
Tova holds a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University where she focused on the real-world application of leadership, organizational behavior, network theory and change management principles. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Oregon.
