With more than 25 years of experience in corporate communications and consulting, Melissa brings a passion for client service and strategic, results-driven programs.
She has used her background in change management and internal, leadership, brand and crisis communications to build creative, effective teams and programs for private and publicly held companies across the financial, insurance, manufacturing, technology, hospitality and transportation industries.
As an agency leader, she led the development of successful client engagement processes and key metrics to continually improve the client experience.
Throughout her career, Melissa has partnered with brands including Bridgestone, Nationwide, Worthington Industries, CareFusion (now BD), Abbott Nutrition and Simplot. Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald as a Senior Director, she established and led global internal communications for Vertiv as the company transitioned from a private equity to a publicly traded company.
Her work has helped companies transform through mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, brand evolutions, labor negotiation, cultural change, leadership transitions, relocations and global crisis. Melissa prides herself on being a good listener and is a fan of the Epictetus quote, “We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak.”
