With more than 20 years of experience in employee communications, Stephanie is passionate about helping leaders communicate with honesty and clarity. She’s a firm believer that only by connecting team members to the bigger “why” will they embrace change and engage in their company’s success. Stephanie is an includer who sees things from different perspectives, a questioner who gets to the heart of the matter and ever the pragmatist — asking for a call to action in every communication.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has partnered with CEOs, CHROs and other global senior executives to create and deliver enterprise communications strategies. Most recently, she served as a strategic advisor to Fortune 500 healthcare and other clients. Her promotional work with a $16-billion manufacturing company’s Analytics Center of Excellence positioned the team’s operating model for adoption across the Americas region. Further, she authored a $7.3-billion managed healthcare company’s corporate strategy, including complementary business unit strategies.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant in 2017, Stephanie led the internal communications functions for Change Healthcare, Transitions Optical, GE Security, and Gerdau Ameristeel. She has deep experience in communications planning for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, restructurings and re-brandings. Stephanie has worked in-person with teams from Manila to Minneapolis, conducting research and customizing communications channels and messages to meet employees where they are with the information they want and need. She began her communications career writing for the president of the University of South Carolina before taking her first corporate role managing CEO communications for KPMG Consulting.
