Hillary Goodman

Global President

Hillary Goodman serves as global president of Gagen MacDonald, drawing on more than twenty years of expertise in client service and management to lead the firm’s people, business and operations.

Hillary advises with strategic innovation and a deep commitment to helping organizations navigate the human struggle of change, cultivate purpose-driven cultures, build high-performing teams and earn buy-in from employees to achieve strategic results.

She has collaborated with Fortune 500 C-suite executives to enhance employee experience and unity around shared visions, notably leading the enterprise change and communication strategy for Bristol-Myers Squibb’s acquisition of Celgene, the largest biopharma deal in history, involving integration across 17 markets on four continents.

She is a sought-after advisor, specializing in human-centered transformation, leadership development, post-merger integration, organizational design, and the evolving future of work. Her clients include some of the world’s most recognized brands, among them ITT Corporation, PepsiCo, RSM/McGladrey, Travelers, Mass General Brigham Integrated Healthcare System and Exelon.

Hillary speaks externally as a trusted industry voice. She has been a leader of the Page Society’s Page Up community for nearly a decade, co-chairing its 2024 annual conference, serving on its membership engagement committee and mentoring dozens of new joiners. She currently co-convenes its Future Leaders Experience on Culture and Employee Experience.

In 2025, Hillary formed a strategic partnership with The Imaginal Cell, establishing a program that helps leaders make their own personal transformation through experiential learning inspired by nature. She has also been honored as one of Ragan’s Top Women in Communications.

Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, Hillary held various positions within Edelman’s Change and Employee Engagement practice in New York City. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from Union College and a master’s degree in public communications from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. In 2025, she earned a certificate from Yale University’s School of Management for completing its executive program on Stakeholder Innovation and Management.
