Josh Hill is an experienced growth advisor and strategy consultant driving revenue growth and managing complex strategic initiatives. Skilled in developing data-driven growth strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering actionable insights for clients, he is passionate about creating scalable, impact-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive sustainable growth for clients and his firm. At Gagen MacDonald, he supports holistic firm growth, coordinating net new and prospective new business efforts, overseeing business development knowledge management, and serving as a growth advisor across the business.
Josh joined Gagen from Burson (BCW) where he served as Director of Growth & Strategy for the U.S.’s 9 practices and 13 markets. At Burson, he specialized in building impact-driven and people-first programs for existing and prospective clients, as well as managing business intelligence in the U.S. to inform the agency's growth strategy, develop new offerings, aid in external marketing efforts, and support team member training & development efforts. In addition, he co-founded and led WPP Unite, an LGBTQ+ advertising and business consultancy, in to support corporate and non-profit clients navigate authentic LGBTQ+ engagement and activation.
Prior to joining the Growth team at Burson, Josh was at the firm’s grassroots consulting arm, Direct Impact. Here he led corporate reputation, public affairs, government relations and communications campaigns on behalf of corporate, non-profit, and public sector clients across telecommunications, natural resources, oil & gas, consumer product goods, automotive, financial services, and higher education.
Originally from Rochester, NY, Joshua earned his B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of Rochester and enjoys all things Food Network, Formula One and the Buffalo Bills.
