With nearly two decades of experience in corporate communication, Kristin is an award-winning communicator who is passionate about telling a company’s story and rallying employees behind a shared vision. She has worked in a variety of industries, including FinTech, manufacturing and transportation.
Kristin has provided counsel to C-suite leaders and communicated through a variety of business challenges, including company transformations, acquisitions, reductions in force, product launches and labor negotiations, as well as crisis situations and reputation management. Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, Kristin was a leader in the corporate communication function at TransUnion, where she held roles overseeing external communication for the company’s Americas region and heading U.S. communication in the areas of crisis response and public affairs. Before TransUnion, Kristin spent seven years at Navistar, where she led employee communication and community relations. Among other awards, Kristin won a Ragan award for employee communication campaign of the year for her work developing and executing a communications program focused on Navistar’s turnaround. She also spent seven years at National Express Corporation, where she oversaw internal, external and crisis communication.
Kristin has experience communicating to both front-line and corporate employees. She has a deep understanding of how to develop clear and consistent messaging to motivate and inspire employees at all levels, as well as how to build and protect a company’s reputation internally and externally.
