A recent master’s graduate of Clemson University, Lauren brings a fresh and timely set of skills with her to the Gagen MacDonald team. In her time as a graduate student, she focused on attaining the skillsets and foundations for internal employee communication and change management, two integral services sought after in the industry given the future of the corporate workforce. Lauren’s ambitious nature drives her passion for creating innovative, unique, and competitive solutions for her clients that will leave a lasting impact on the business and its employees.

At Gagen MacDonald, Lauren is focused on applying her educational background in organizational communication to her client work, including internal employee communications, thought leadership solutions, and change management. On a day-to-day basis, Lauren provides internal communications and thought leadership support for the Pharmaceutical sector of a Fortune 50 company.

At Gagen MacDonald, Lauren is focused on applying her educational background in organizational communication to her client work, including internal employee communications, thought leadership solutions, and change management. On a day-to-day basis, Lauren provides internal communications and thought leadership support for the Pharmaceutical sector of a Fortune 50 company.

Shortly after joining Gagen, Lauren was part of an orchestrated effort to execute a change management plan for a company whose employees were dedicated to its history and legacy. Her role required meticulous project management and quick turnaround for supporting materials, as well as reactive communication responses to media and other key stakeholders. In this role, she learned the value of accounting for each stakeholder and setting up company leaders for success.

Lauren’s previous experience spans across various industries, most notably banking and higher education. As an intern within the Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs function at Bank of America, Lauren supported the Market Presidents organization and the development of a social media strategy for its members. As an instructor of Public Speaking in Clemson University’s Department of Communication, Lauren gained skills pertaining to research, social media monitoring, and interpersonal communication. With an emphasis in political communication, Lauren participated in groundbreaking research along with her advisor to monitor yellow journalism and disinformation in the traditional media and social media during the 2020 presidential election. As a new member of the consulting industry, Lauren sees great value in sharing her experience in social media monitoring with her clients.
