Lauren is a talented and passionate creative who brings a smart, fun approach to brand experiences and internal communications. With her knack for typography, identity design, brand systems and event experiences, Lauren infuses artistic trends into her work to work in tandem with strategic objectives specific to the audience or end user. She has been directing and stewarding the Gagen MacDonald brand for the past four years.
With over 15 years of experience in the design field, Lauren has developed an expert foundation of corporate identity, brand design, creative strategy and brand positioning. She understands that design is an integral part of driving organizational and behavioral change across any industry and culture. Early in her career, Lauren spent time in Washington D.C., working for a boutique design studio where she learned the intricacies of working with not-for-profit and government clientele. Prior to joining Gagen MacDonald, she worked at a global human capital consulting firm, where she spent five years as a Senior Design Lead. She was a key player on the U.S.-based business development team, where she led and executed design efforts across the country, working alongside large teams of Health & Benefits consultants to pursue new client relationships, grow prospects and enhance current client relations. She amplified and lead creative dialogue company-wide – sparking the differentiated value of quality, creative thinking and buyer-centric design experiences.
Lauren has an appetite for big ideas while simultaneously perfecting the small details. It's in these details that her concepts connect the Gagen brand successfully both externally and internally. In her work, she aims to establish strong recognition in the marketplace for the Gagen brand while impacting our own employees' experiences. Her work is always delivered in close partnership with her Marketing & Thought Leadership teammates across APCO. Learning, growing and stretching her expertise alongside them is a strength she brings to the team's day-to-day operations and long-term goals.
